Mercadillo de Teror and San Mateo is a traditional market in Gran Canarias and one of the largest in all the Canary Islands. We would recommend you arrive at the earliest bus before 10 am. This way you will have around 2 hours before it gets crowded. The Market offers a large variety of handmade goods and 100% organic cotton clothes and jewellery made with volcanic rocks. You will find souvenirs like Fridge magnets, Postcards etc.
